Jason Goroncy
Music

Some people have a remarkable gift for holding together things that most of us keep separate.
Jason is one of them.
He is a musician, writer and thinker whose work moves effortlessly between music, poetry, trauma, beauty, imagination and hope. What I love most is that none of it feels abstract. He has a way of exploring life's deepest questions with both intellectual depth and extraordinary tenderness.
I can't imagine an evening about hidden growth without inviting someone who has spent so much of his life exploring both suffering and beauty. His work reminds me that beauty and suffering often grow in the very same places.
Perhaps what I admire most is his willingness to stay with complexity. He doesn't rush towards easy answers or tidy conclusions. Instead, he reminds us that transformation rarely begins once we've solved all our questions. More often, it begins because we're willing to stay with them.
