The Geography of Becoming is a collection of six artworks exploring what it means to be human while we are changing.

Through layered imagery, fragments of text, botanical forms, photography, drawing and digital collage, these works trace the landscapes we travel as we grow into ourselves. Together they move through questions of time, endurance, grace, courage, complexity and hope, acknowledging that transformation is rarely linear. We circle back. We lose our way. We discover unexpected clearings. We learn to notice what sustains us.

Presented as a series of interconnected landscapes, each artwork offers a different perspective on the lifelong practice of becoming. Together they form an invitation to honour where we have been, recognise where we are, and remain open to all that is still unfolding.

Artist Note

The Geography of Becoming is a meditation on the landscapes that shape us and the quiet courage required to keep choosing life, hope and growth. These works are reflections on resilience, tenderness, uncertainty, grace and the ongoing practice of becoming more fully ourselves.
