The Geography of Becoming

A collection of artworks about what it means to be human while we are changing.

Through layered imagery, fragments of text, botanical forms, movement and abstraction, these works explore resilience, tenderness, uncertainty, hope, and the slow practice of becoming ourselves. They are invitations to honour where you have been, recognise where you are, and remain open to all that is still unfolding.

Like the lives they reflect, this collection remains a work in progress.

About

The Geography of Becoming explores the landscapes we travel as we grow into ourselves.

Through layered imagery, botanical forms, fragments of text, movement, photography and digital collage, these pieces trace the shifting terrain of human experience: resilience and tenderness, grief and joy, uncertainty and hope. They acknowledge that transformation is rarely linear. We circle back. We lose our way. We discover unexpected clearings. We find new language for old truths.

These works are not maps with fixed destinations. Instead, they offer glimpses of the inner landscapes we inhabit as we learn to trust ourselves, reclaim our stories, and move towards lives that feel more fully our own.

The Geography of Becoming is an evolving collection. New works emerge as the landscape shifts, revealing fresh perspectives on what it means to become ourselves.
